Wine Tastings

Tastings are walk-in for groups of 8 people or less.*

Tasting cost is $5.00 to try 6 (1 ounce samples) of our award-winning wines.

We offer a guided tasting at our bar with one of our wine hosts or flight boards may be available daily for small parties (4 or less).

Souvenir glasses can be purchased separately for $9.95.

Our tasting bar closes 1/2 hour before we do each night.

*We do our best to accommodate groups of all sizes, but we ask that groups of 8 or more call ahead for reservations. We will not be able to accommodate tastings for groups of 15 or more without reservations but can offer wine by the glass or bottle.

Private Group Tastings

We offer private group tastings for groups of 15 people or more. A great option for a company outing, wedding party, or reunion.

We can accommodate parties up to 40 people. Reservations are required at least one week in advance. Please contact the tasting room manager for information and pricing.

Food Policy

We sell assorted cheeses from Kentucky Proud cheesemakers, Kenny's Farmhouse Cheeses and Black Belt Cheese spreads, as well as assorted trail mixes and other prepackaged snacks.

As we are not a restaurant, you are also welcome to bring a picnic with you.

Children and Pet Policy

People under 21 are welcome to visit. They are just not allowed at our bar, per KY law.

We do have a very cute children's play room! The room features a a TV, Lego table, and other assorted toys for kids. It is unmonitored by FEW staff. No food or drink allowed inside. Sanitized daily.

We are pet friendly. Dogs must be on a leash while in the winery and kept close by their keepers. If your pet is disturbing others (barking, jumping, etc), we will ask you to retire to our patio.

You may get a chance to meet our very friendly Pest Control Manager (AKA: Ava the Wine Cat).

Shipping and In Store Pick Up

You can pre-order online our wines or by phone for in-store pick-up or shipping.

Pick-Up: To pick up your order, simply visit our tasting room bar and show us a valid state or government ID. Wine pick up must be done by the person who ordered.

Shipping: In accordance with federal and state laws we can not ship to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia or Wisconsin.

All orders will be securely packed for shipping within 5 days of ordering either online or via phone. After the carrier picks up, packages typically arrive within 3-5 days but weekends and holidays may affect shipping and carrier pick up dates.

All packages containing alcohol must be signed for by an adult 21 years of age or older. If you are not sure you will home at the time of delivery, you may wish to ship to a business address to avoid a return.

We use FedEx as our shipping carrier. Shipping costs typically range from $20-$60.

Return Policy

We cannot offer returns on purchased wine, but can offer exchanges under circumstances where there is actually a fault in the wine. Rare, but it happens at all wineries!

Open bottles must be at least 75% full to be eligible for an exchange.

Area Attractions

Our county is home to three other wineries, two world famous bourbon distilleries, Bernheim Forest and Arboretum, and more. We would advise calling before visiting any area attractions.
